Indian Military Airplane Crashes Near Airport New Delhi, 3 Killed

A small plane carrying military personnel crashed near the airport in New Delhi, India. At least three people on board were killed.
Delivered Indian rescue workers, as reported by AFP on Tuesday (12/22/2015), emergency authorities conducting rescue operations. The plane was carrying 10 passengers when it crashed shortly after takeoff from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.
"The plane crashed at about 09:50 local time, shortly after the technician (aircraft) lost contact with ground control authorities," said the Director of the Fire Department of New Delhi, AK Sharma, told AFP.
"So far, three bodies have been evacuated from the scene," he added.
The local authorities mentioned that a small aircraft with twin engines being hired to bring the Indian border military personnel. The twin engine plane with about to fly to Ranchi, Jharkhand region east, when suddenly fell.
Cause of the crash is not known for sure.
Local TV footage showed officers combing the scene with fire trucks waited nearby. (DetikNews)
