Spurs Crisis Line Rear

Tottenham Hotspur have two central defenders to stay ahead of the Champions League quarter-final match against Real Madrid next week. They are Cameroon defender Sebastien Bassong and England defender Michael Dawson. Both also will be lowered when the Spurs come to the cage Wigan Athletic on Saturday (2 / 4).

Another central defender is Spurs Ledley King, Jonathan Woodgate, and Younes Kaboul confirmed missing because of injury. The French defender William Gallas, Friday (1 / 4) must undergo an audit to find out how severe the injury.

"The possibility of Ledley had to have surgery. If that happens then he is certainly absent until the end of the season," says architect Spurs Harry Redknapp. "It's really a nightmare. Now, we only have two central defenders."

Redknapp expects its flagship player Gareth Bale will recover and can participate during a visit to the stable Spurs Real Madrid. Saturday (27 / 3) then, Bale canceled performed with Wales squad because of a hamstring injury.

"Gareth has conducted joint exercises and physical trainers look good this morning. However, if he could play in two consecutive games is questionable,"added Redknapp. (MetroTv)
